Crafting Clear Messages

Want to capture your audience's attention instantly?

Here's a quick tip.

Explain things simply, like to a five-year-old.

Or even better, to a tech-illiterate grandparent.

Why? It’s not offensive. It’s psychology.

When things are easy to understand, they convert.

Overcomplicate, and you lose them.

Everything should be a no-brainer.

The biggest issue? Elevator pitches.

Stop using technical jargon that most people don't understand.

The moment you need to define a word, you’ve lost them.

I've made this mistake too. I used to say, “I’m an award-winning UX designer.”

Now I say, “I design easy-to-use, intuitive websites.”

Which is clearer?

Know your audience.

Use language they understand.

My advice? Use simple, easy-to-understand language in your pitch and your website.

Explain what you do like you would to a kindergartener.

Simple is better, I promise. 🌹
